According to Marietta Police Department records, Willis Thornton of Smyrna, Georgia, and Kacey Green of Marietta, Georgia, were involved in an accident on June 13, 2023.
Both drivers were southbound on Cobb Parkway at the intersection of Windy Hill in Marietta. As approaching the red light at the intersection, Thornton was following too closely and struck the rear end of Green's vehicle.
Both drivers were issued case cards at the scene, but no injuries were reported.
