On March 19, 2021, Officer Y Leverette was dispatched to the scene of an accident on Baker Road.
A Volvo XC90 driven by Ms. Y Adams rear-ended a Toyota Camry driven by Mr. J Coronado. Both vehicles were travelling west on Baker Road.
Ms. Adams stated that her two young children aged 2 and 4 who were strapped into child safety seats in the in the back seat, distracted her and she rear-ended Mr. Coronado’s vehicle.
This caused Mr. Coronado to rear-end a third vehicle in front of him, but the driver of this vehicle had left the scene before the office arrived. Neither Ms. Adams nor Mr. Coronado could identify this driver or vehicle.
Ms. Adams’ vehicle sustained no damage while Mr. Coronado’s vehicle sustained slight damage to the front and rear bumpers.
None of the occupants of either vehicle sustained any injuries.
The accident was reported in the city of Acworth in Cobb County.
