On November 2nd, 2024, Djalma Lessa and Joshua Doolittle were involved in an automobile accident on Bentley Rd at its intersection with Terrell Mill Rd.
Doolittle was originally stopped going northbound on Terrell Mill Rd at the intersection of Bentley Rd waiting for the traffic signal to turn green. Doolittle stated that when the signal turned green he entered the intersection to cross into Bentley Rd, the front end of his vehicle collided with the left rear side of Lessa's vehicle. Lessa stated that she did not realize her traffic signal was red. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage from the accident and were towed from the scene.
Lessa was found at fault for the accident and was cited with violation of traffic control device.
