On August 4th, 2021, Officer A Hood was dispatched to the scene of an accident at the intersection of State Route 316 EB off ramp and Buford Drive.
The accident occurred at 13:44.
Mr. S Olivo Aguado was driving a Toyota RAV4, and Mr. D Abraham was driving a Ford Transit Connect.
Both vehicles were traveling east on State Route 316 on the off-ramp approaching the intersection of Buford Drive.
Mr. Abraham had stopped his vehicle in the traffic and Mr. Aguado’s vehicle rear-ended Mr. Abraham’s vehicle.
Slight damage was caused to both vehicles which were removed by their respective drivers prior to the office arriving at the scene.
Neither driver was injured.
Mr. Aguado admitted guilt for the accident and was cited in terms of O.C.G.A. 40-6-49 “Following too closely”.
The weather surface conditions, and light conditions were all good.
The accident was reported in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County.
