On July 20th 2024, Michelle Williams and Chelsea Dreuitt were involved in an accident on Hickory Rd East at its intersection with Hickory Flat Highway.
Williams stated that she was attempting to turn left to go northbound on Hickory Flat Highway when the other vehicle came out of nowhere. At this time Williams' vehicle struck Dreuitt's vehicle. Dreuitt stated that she was traveling westbound on Batesville Rd, approaching the intersection of Hickory Flat highway. She stated that as she was approaching the intersection, the light turned yellow, and that Williams made a quick left turn in front of her causing the crash. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
Williams was found at fault and was cited with failure to yield.
