Accident Westbound on Highway 92 (Cherokee)

On September 6th, 2025, Mary Machiana and Elijah Swiney were involved in an automobile accident on Highway 92 in Cherokee County.

Machiana was traveling Westbound on Highway 92 in the left turning lane approaching Woodstock Rd. Swiney was traveling on Highway 92 Eastbound also approaching Woodstock Rd. Machiana did not yield to incoming traffic while attempting to make a left hand turn onto Woodstock Rd and as a result, collided into Swiney's vehicle. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Machiana was found at fault for the accident and was cited with Failure to Yield.
