On March 1st, 2025, Larios Fernando and John Gartrell were involved in an automobile accident on Old Salem Rd in Rockdale County.
Fernando was backing out of a driveway with a large trailer at 1585 Old Salem Rd. Gartrell was traveling Westbound on Old Salem Rd near the intersection of Salem Gate Drive. Gartrell's vehicle collided with the trailer, causing damage to both vehicles. While on scene the responding officer noticed that trailer lights were not on even though the truck was on. It was then found that the trailer was not plugged into the truck.
Both vehicles sustained functional damage from the accident. Fernando was found at fault for the accident and was cited with Improper Backing.
