On June 22, 2021, Officer B S Smith was dispatched to the scene of an accident at 4900 Circle 75 Parkway.
The accident occurred at 00:05.
Ms. D Nelson was driving a Toyota Corolla but was having trouble with the vehicle.
She stated that she attempted to roll it from the Shell gas station to Motel 6.
As she rolled into a parking at Motel 6 her brakes failed.
Ms. Nelson jumped out of the vehicle which rolled down the road and struck a pole, then continued rolling onto Circle 75 Parkway before coming to a stop on the sidewalk.
Ms. Nelson did not sustain any injury.
The vehicle sustained damage to the front and front left side and was removed by Barrows Wrecker.
No obvious damage to the pole was sustained.
The accident was reported in Cobb County.
