On July 30, 2021, Officer B Ehasz was dispatched to the scene of an accident at the intersection of Scenic Highway and Phillips Street.
The accident occurred at 14:22.
Ms. J Johnson was driving a Nissan Sentra traveling southbound on Scenic Highway approaching Phillips Street.
A Nissan Pathfinder belonging to a vehicle dealership had broken down in the left lane on Scenic Highway NB at the intersection of Phillips Street.
An employee of the dealership was attempting to jump start the vehicle, which he succeeded at doing.
The vehicle had been left in gear and began to move involuntarily.
It steered left, jumped the median and collided with Ms. Johnson’s vehicle head-on.
Ms. Johnson did not sustain any injury.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. The Nissan Pathfinder was removed by Lance Wrecker and Ms. Johnson removed her own vehicle.
The weather, surface conditions and light condition were all good.
The accident was reported in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County.
