Disregarding Traffic Leads to Accident (Fayette County)

On April 18th 2025, Savannah Mongosa and Abdula Johnson were involved in an automobile accident on Highway 92 N at its intersection with Veterans Parkway.

Mongosa was traveling Southbound on Highway 92 near Veterans Parkway while Johnson was traveling Eastbound on Veterans Parkway. Mongosa then failed to stop at the red circular signal and entered the intersection and struck Johnson's vehicle. The impact caused Mongosa's vehicle to flip over one time and come to rest on its wheels. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage from the accident. Mongosa was found at fault and was cited with Disregard of a Traffic Signal.
