Dorris Rd Accident (Douglasville)

On July 26th, 2025, Maria Hernandez and E.W Tolbert were involved in an automobile accident on Dorris Rd at its intersection with Hospital Drive in Douglasville.

Hernandez stated that she was driving and saw the light ahead of her had changed to red, but she could not stop as her brakes were not working, and the vehicle did not stop. Tolbert stated that he was waiting to make a left turn onto hospital drive. When his light was a green turn signal, he attempted the turn and was directly struck by Hernandez' vehicle. A witness also stated that Hernandez had ran through her red light. Both cars sustained functional damage from the accident. Hernandez was found at fault for the accident and was cited with disregard of a traffic signal.
