On May 11th 2024, Marcotulio Mazariegos Lopez and Ingrid Nguyen were involved in an accident on Old 41 Highway in Cobb County.
Both vehicles were traveling East on Old Highway 41 When Lopez's vehicle struck the rear of Nguyen. Lopez did not remain on the scene and left the area in a different vehicle. Nguyen stated that she stopped because of traffic in front of her and was suddenly rear ended. She had complaints of head pain and was transported to Kennestone hospital.
Lopez was determined at fault and located and arrested for charges of hit and run. driving while unlicensed and failure to yield. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and Lopez's vehicle was impounded by Kennesaw Wrecker.
