East Cherokee Drive the Site of Accident (Cherokee)

On March 22nd 2025, Daniel Henao and Steven Desanto were involved in an automobile accident on East Cherokee Drive.

Both vehicles were traveling Northbound on East Cherokee Drive toward Cotton Rd. Desanto attempted to slow down to attempt to make a right hand turn onto Cotton Road. It was determined that Henao was behind Desanto's vehicle and was following too closely as well as driving while distracted. The front of Henao's vehicle then struck the rear of Desantos car. Henao then went forward and struck a stop sign and a street sign then drove into a ditch. Both vehicles sustained functional damage from the accident.

Henao was found to be at fault for the accident and was cited with following too closely and distracted driving.
