On April 30, 2024 Grace Southerland and Carol Nicholson were involved in an accident at the intersection of SR20 and West Hightower Trail.
Carol Nicholson was traveling through the intersection and had right of way. Southerland failed to stop at the stop sign, causing a collision between the two vehicles. Nicholson's car had disabling damage and needed to be towed from the scene.
Southerland was found at fault and cited with failure to stop at a stop sign.
