On November 9th, 2024, Kaitlyn Griffis and Francois Longin were involved in an accident on East Cherokee Drive near the intersection of Hickory Rd.
Longin was traveling straight on Hickory Rd as Griffis was attempting to turn left onto East Cherokee Drive from Hickory Rd. As Longin entered the intersection to continue straight, Griffis attempted to make her turn. Both vehicles then collided in the roadway. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage from the accident.
Griffis was determined to be at fault for the accident and was cited with failure to yield.Â
