Failure to Yield on Mall of GA Blvd Leads to Accident (Gwinnett)

On July 3rd 2025, Sherrie Akal and Ashley Knoble were involved in an automobile accident on Mall of Georgia Blvd at its intersection of Financial Center Way.

Knoble was traveling straight on Mall Of Georgia Blvd when Akal made a left turn in front of her causing a collision. Akal stated that she waiting to make a left turn into financial center way. She stated that the light was yellow and she attempted to hit the gas in an attempt to make the light and she thought she had enough room to make a safe turn.

Both vehicles sustained functional damage from the accident. Akal was found at fault for the crash and was cited with Failure to Yield.
