On June 19th, 2024, Brayden Chrismon and Stephan Beasley were involved in an accident on Old Alabama Rd.
Beasley advised he was traveling eastbound on Old Alabama Rd and stopped for traffic in front of Newtown park. He also advised that fire equipment located at the fire station across the street from the park was on with their emergency signal active. Chrismon stated he was traveling on Old Alabama when he saw traffic stop in front of him but could not stop the vehicle and struck the rear of Beasley's car.
Both vehicles sustained functional damage and Beasley requested medical attention for his head and neck. Chrismon was found at fault and cited with following too closely.
