On October 12th, 2024, Isaac Jean-Claude and Steven Rivera were involved in an automobile accident on Bankstone Drive at its intersection with Sawmill Rd.
Jean-Claude was traveling north on Bankstone Drive, approaching Sawmill Rd. Rivera was traveling south on Bankstone Dr heading towards Sawmill Rd. As Jean-Claude was making a left onto Sawmill Rd his vehicle collided with Rivera's car. Prior to police arriving on the scene, Rivera left the scene. When police arrived, they found Rivera wallking back to the spot of the accident, claiming he was not the driver of his vehicle. He was arrested and placed in a police vehicle. Both vehicles sustained functional damage in the accident.
Jean-Claude was found at fault for the accident and was cited with improper turn.
