Mering onto I85 Causes Accident (Union City)

On March 1st, 2025, Tekela Lindsay and Shane Williams were involved in an automobile accident on I85 in Union City.

Williams stated that he was traveling Northbound on I85 when Lindsay's vehicle merged into and struck his car. He stated that Lindsay did not speed up or slow down while merging onto the highway. Lindsay stated that Williams was already speeding down the highway and that she had already completed her merge onto the highway. Both vehicles sustained functional damage from the accident.

Lindsay was found at fault for the accident and was cited with failure to yield while entering a roadway.
