Rear-End at Old Hamilton & Dallas Hwy

A rear-end collision occurred in the southbound right-turn lane at Old Hamilton Rd and Dallas Hwy in Cobb County on October 25, 2025, at 9:42 AM. Mario Pinedo, 31, told police the lead car (driven by Elizabeth Skelton, 65) began moving then abruptly stopped, leaving him unable to brake in time.

Pinedo’s Honda struck Skelton’s Mercedes. Minor damage reported; no injuries among the three occupants, including Pinedo’s 3-year-old passenger.

Pinedo was cited for following too closely (O.C.G.A. § 40-6-49) by Cobb County PD.
