A rear-end crash occurred on the I-985 Northbound off-ramp when traffic was slowing.

Mark Guilford, 63, driving a 2015 Honda Accord, struck the rear of Veronica Rubio’s 2023 Toyota RAV4. Rubio, 53, reported minor neck pain from the impact but declined on-scene medical treatment. No other injuries were reported.

Guilford was cited for Following Too Closely. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene.

Contributing Factors: Following too closely in slowing/queued traffic.

Injuries: Minor neck pain (Driver 2).

Damage: Functional damage to both vehicles.
