On March 10, 2021 Office S M Witcher was dispatched to an accident scene at Browns Bridge Road.
Two vehicles were traveling west on Browns Bridge Road approaching Reives Road. Each vehicle was towing a trailer, one vehicle behind the other. The second vehicle, a Dodge RAM 1500 driven by Mr. Jody Serecky, was following the first vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado ME driven by Mr. Levi Cole. Mr. Serecky was following too closely and collided with Mr. Cole’s trailer. Mr. Cole had stopped his vehicle and trailer in the traffic. Mr Serecky was in the center lane and attempted to avoid the collision by swerving around Mr. Cole’s vehicle and trailer. He was unable to complete this maneuver and a third vehicle, driven by Mr. David Smitty who was traveling east on Browns Bridge Road sideswiped Mr. Serecky’s vehicle.
Officer Witcher determined that all three vehicles were involved in the accident simultaneously. Mr. Serecky was found to be at fault by traveling too closely.
None of the drivers sustained injuries and no witness statements were taken.
