Wet Conditions Help Cause Accident (Douglasville)

On May 10th 2025, David Broughton and Angelica Peralta were involved in an automobile accident on I-20 Eastbound in Douglasville.

Broughton stated that he was traveling in the middle lane on I-20 Eastbound. He then moved into the slow lane and saw a vehicle moving slower than other traffic. Broughton attempted to slam the brakes but was unable to gain any traction due to the wet conditions of the road. He then struck the right side of Peraltas' vehicle.

Both cars sustained functional damage from the accident. Broughton was found at fault for the accident and was cited with Following too Closely.
