Per Douglasville police records, Beverly Polite of Powder Springs, Georgia, and Alex Fulks of Ellenwood, Georgia, were involved in an accident on Thornton Road on November 29, 2021.
According to the report, Polite told officers on the scene that she fell asleep at the wheel and rear ended the vehicle in front of her. Both Polite and Fulks were both traveling northbound on Thornton Road. Fulks account as well as an independent observer's account corresponded with Polite's account.
Polite was cited for following too closely.
