Per Marietta Police Reports, Brooke Walker of Sterling, Virginia, and Ayu Dirmansyah of Marietta, Georgia, were involved in an accident on September 13, 2021.
Walker was travelling east on South Marietta Parkway and was in the right lane. Dirmansyah was traveling west on South Marietta Parkway and attempted to make a left-hand turn south onto Technology Parkway and hit Walker's vehicle.
Walker told the reporting officer that the sunlight was in her eyes and could not see that the traffic signal had turned red. Dirmansyah told the officer that the other vehicle ran the red light, which caused the accident.
