According to Cobb County Police Reports, Michelle Allen of Smyrna, Georgia, was ticketed for a u-turn violation on November 7, 2020. Allen was traveling west on Roswell Road at the intersection of Robinson Road. She told the reporting officer that she observed a green light at the intersection and proceeded to attempted to travel west. Helen Thomas of Marietta, Georgia was traveling west bound on Roswell Road and also observed a green light at this intersection. Allen did not see the approaching vehicle driven by Thomas thus causing the accident. Allen suffered a head injury as a result of the accident.
