Hydroplaning on I285 (Sandy Springs)

On May 4th, 2024, Zandra Otis-Bell and David Kubasu were involved in an accident on 285 Eastbound in Sandy Springs.

Otis-Bell was traveling on 285 EB in lane #2 when she states she hydroplaned causing loss of control of the vehicle. Her vehicle crossed into lanes 3 and 4 causing her vehicle to collide with Kubasu's vehicle then spin out and come to a stop on the median on the left shoulder.

Both cars had disabling damage, but no one was taken to the hospital. Otis-Bell deemed at fault and was cited with failure to maintain lane.
