On April 25, 2021 Officer M Sperlik was dispatched to the scene of an accident at the intersection of Scenic Highway and South Clayton Street.
At 20:38 a black Chevrolet Camaro driven by an unknown person was involved in a hit and run accident with a Kia Soul driven by Ms. E Wilson Heck. The Chevrolet is owned by a Mr. S Lopez.
Ms. Wilson Heck in the left lane waiting to turn from Scenic Highway onto Grayson Highway at the intersection of South Clayton Street.
The Chevrolet rear ended her vehicle causing visible damage.
Ms. Wilson Heck attempted to speak to the other driver, but he stated that he did not speak English and drive away from the scene. He was seen driving south on Grayson Highway.
Ms. Heck sustained slight pain to her neck but did not require medical assistance.
Weather and road surface conditions were good and light conditions were dark — lighted.
The accident was reported in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County.
