Per Cobb County Police Reports, on September 30, 2022, Carrie Ray of Dallas, Georgia, and Travis Forbes of Marietta, Georgia, were involved in an accident at the intersection of Old Lost Mountain Road and Tranquil Lane.
Ray was traveling on Tranquil Lane, stopped at the stop sign at the intersection at Old Lost Mountain Road and began a left-hand turn. She told the reporting officer that she believed that the intersection was a 4-way stop and then pulled out in front of Forbes who was traveling northbound on Old Lost Mountain Road.
Forbes told the officer in the report that he was traveling northbound when Ray pulled out in front of him and then collided with his vehicle.
Ray was ticketed for violation of a traffic control device.
